When Belief Turns to Faith

All people are born into a lineage.  For some, their heritage is steeped in cultural practices and an adherence to customs which define their legacy and belief.  For others, they may have a very fine thread of understanding, perhaps limited to something as simple as an acknowledgement of their race.  Regardless, beliefs and cultural practices may give us a sense of family and home (a connection and belonging), but belief alone cannot define us in relationship with God.  Only faith can do this.  So how do we recognize faith when paired with hereditary belief?  Oftentimes our personal journey and testimony of the intimate reconciliation with our Lord, through Christ, paints the best picture:
