Samaritan Women

SAMARITAN WOMEN
Formerly a program for previously incarcerated women, Samaritan women is now the support component for women who are currently incarcerated.  We believe it is important to give hope to women who will someday need to transition back into the community.  For that reason, we offer the following services:

Water from the Well – A monthly newsletter sent to county jail and local prisons to offer the hope of Jesus Christ, and to encourage women to consider Rescue the Children as they transition out of imprisonment.

Pen Pals – Christian women offer encouragement through letters as they are paired with women who are currently incarcerated.

Prison Ministry – Once a month Rescue the Children staff and volunteers travel to our two local women’s prisons and offer praise and worship services for women currently incarcerated.  Faith, hope and love are shared.
